Femme-rocker Colleen Alanna has been stirring up the Nashville rock scene for a couple of years. Her new group "Love's Tragedy" is the perfect platform for her haunting melodies and brooding lyrics. At first glance some might dismiss this band and group them with bands like Evanescence or Lacuna Coil. Upon closer examination I find the the group displays not only great musicianship but draws upon post-modern bands like Missing Persons and Romeo Void still keeping the modern rock guitar-centric vibe. Check them out when you get a chance and you'll find that Love's Tragedy is far from tragic.
