Today's Daily Pedal is about gear for your pedals! Enjoy!
Premier Guitar's Rebecca Dirks is On Location in Anaheim, CA, for the 2010 NAMM show where she visits the Voodoo Lab booth. In this segment, we get to see what's new at Voodoo Lab, including the Pedal Power Iso 5, Pedal Power Cables and Ground Control Pro Updates.
The Pedal Power Iso 5 is an isolated power supply for powering guitar pedal effects and accessories. It's the ultimate compact solution for smaller pedalboards, rack shelves, or even as an additional power supply for larger boards. With five isolated, filtered and regulated output sections, ISO-5 keeps even the most sensitive vintage and boutique analog pedals dead quiet.
Pedal Power ISO-5 includes a high-current output which will properly power modern digital power-hungry effects like those from Eventide, Line 6, and TC Electronic. There's also a dedicated 18V output for those pedals which need the higher voltage for extra headroom.
Pedal Power Cables come in various sizes and lengths and are broken down into two different categories - 2 & 2+ cables and AC cables.
The Ground Control Pro can work great with Digidesign's Eleven Rack and now has even more flexibility and control for the most anal of guitarists.
