DigiTech clinician Rikk Beatty gives you the scoop on the new flagship RP1000 guitar effects unit. It features over 160 built-in stompboxes and a tone-preserving preamp loop — plus, it's got USB connectivity, so you can organize your presets and record to your DAW.
Here's a comparison of the Dunlop Crybaby, EVH Crybaby, Fulltone Clyde Wah, and EX-7 with 2 wah models (Crybaby and Vox McCoy). Using a Marshall JVM 410H on the OD1 channel, Orange mode. No pedals were used. Guitar is a Michael Kelly Patriot Shadow with Rockfield pickups. Played by Robert Renman.
Electro-Harmonix's Larry DeMarco takes us on a brief tour of the new EHX pedals showcased at the 2010 Summer NAMM show in Nashville. The new offerings from the New York-based effects giant include the Freeze Sound Retainer, Germanium4 Big Muff Pi, Nano Clone and Magnum 44 Power Amp. All of these pedals should hit the market very soon.

One of the most talked about pedals at the 2010 Summer NAMM show wasn't an effects stomp at all... it was the Pigtronix Keymaster Re-amp Effects Mixer. So what does this nifty looking box do? For that we turn it over to Pigtronix's top hog Dave Koltai to give us a walk-thru of this unique routing tool.
Greetings Tone Freqs! I just thought I would share some killer pictures of our door prizes for tomorrow's big show! Keep in mind that in order to get any of the door prizes you MUST pay the $10 cover charge to benefit the ASPCA! Thanks for your support! Hope to see everyone there!

Greetings Tone Freqs!!! Summer NAMM 2010 is here! For the latest coverage of the show please visit the Whats That Dude Play blog! I hope to have the site's main man Blake on the podcast next week to chat about the Summer session and his blog! It will be good times all the way around.
As far as tomorrow goes I have gotten word from my JonesWorld band mate Chris Famous that we will be auctioning off a signed item from Faith Hill and Tim McGraw! This will go a long way in helping out the ASPCA with animal shelters affected by the TN flooding. Thank you Chris! I have also gotten a ton of giveaways for the show from our sponsors including guitars, pedals, strings, amps and MORE! We also have gotten over 200 DVD's from the Rock House Method to give away at the event as well. So just about everyone should be walking home with something VERY cool!
The night of the concert also has some pretty cool surprises in store. Suffice to say that I have had to brush off some licks I haven't played in many many years for several all-star jams! In case you are not able to attend please feel free to visit http://TheRutledgeLMV.com's site for the LIVE Ustream feed to see all the happenings first hand!
Please spread the word and I hope to see everyone there!
Seamless integration of your favorite guitar effects directly into your vocal chain! The Synapse is the first of its kind, taking a unique approach to vocal processing, allowing singers and bands to explore more unique tones and effects with vocals. The Synapse pedal accepts a dynamic microphone input and offers an Instrument level send and Return loop for correct impedance matching.
Works with all types of pedals; Vintage or Modern, Analog or Digital!
Complete freedom to create all original vocal tones!
We FINALLY have the REVENGE Lil Rock 5 watt tube head IN STOCK! MORE features than any amp in its class or price range. 1 - 6L6 power tube, 1 - 12AX7 preamp tube. Order from www.recycledsound.net or contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Seems like a good deal to me... and pretty sexy too. Interesting!
Now you can get those ear candy vocal effects that producers call on every day to create hit tracks. VoiceTone Create XT improves on the original Create by incorporating HardTune (used by artists such as Tpain and Kanye West) and the rich, front-of-house quality reverb from its famous big brother, VoiceLive 2.
We've also made Create XT easier to use with individual on/off buttons for the effects blocks, new tweak controls, an input for an optional Switch3 footswitch and more.
Here's the updated press release for our Summer NAMM event. If you're in the Nashville area I hope you will attend and support this great cause. If you can't make it please feel free to spread the word on your Facebook or Twitter pages! Thank you for your continued support!!!

I thought I had posted a video about this great tap-tempo tremolo pedal. Check it out. Not only does it have a very responsive tap-tempo switch it also has a nice warm analog sound, have killer "chopper" extreme sounds and the ability to change wave forms! This pedal comes with the Tone Freq seal of approval!
In this episode of "The Tone Freq Podcast" Aljon chats with DigiTech clinician Rikk Beatty about his album "Guitar Farm" and the gear he uses. He also chats about guitar news, Twitter, announces the winner of the Wicked Woody Pedalboard contest and has an update on the ToneFreq/ASPCA Summer NAMM showcase!
