Today's edition of the "Daily Pedal" is not a pedal I've even tried yet. The engineers at MXR have built a new distortion pedal called the Fullbore Metal. This pedal has been built from the ground up to deliver bone crushing gain from the likes of Dimebag, Rhodes, Wylde and everywhere in between. Even at the 20% position there is tones more gain to be had. I really dig the depth and control you have over the EQ as well as the cool noise gate. Check it out for yourself. Now I have to update my must-have pedal list! Dammit!
